Wonderful location, helpful staff…..do not drive there yourself.

The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and most of all, it was in the center of the historic district. Driving and parking was a meltdown nightmare. Lots of one way streets that Waze and Apple Maps don’t recognize as one way Some are one way while traffic progresses, then traffic in the opposite direction takes over. There are also steel poles that rise up out of the ground to prevent you from passing and you must “have authorization” to make them receded so you can pass. Waze does not recognize these barriers either. It was not until we checked out that the staff said most guest hie a car to deliver them and do not drive. Good luck finding a parking spot either. My recommendation….DO NOT drive in Sintra.
